Our team of engineers has extensive experience in delivering a wide range of well intervention solutions, including through-tubing gravel packs, screen hang-offs, water shut-offs, zone changes, perforation extensions, retrofit gas lifts, tubing patches, stimulation, and more. Recently, we deployed a 20ft straddle tubing patch assembly with slickline for a client to address a communication issue between the long string and short string. This solution enabled continued production and saved the client significant costs that would have otherwise been incurred from a workover.

The design for the Eremor 5 & 6 wells utilized a One-Trip Horizontal Stand Alone Screen and Liner cementing method. This approach was first introduced to SPDC in the late 90s, offering significant time and cost savings. When the Eremor project was in the bidding phase, the client had a limited budget of $12m per well. We reintroduced the slim hole one-trip system design and assured the client that we could complete both Eremor 5 and 6 wells for under $12m. We successfully delivered both wells on time and within budget, demonstrating the value that Artek brings to the table.
At Artek, we recognize that many drilling and well completion projects struggle with proper management due to the lack of efficient tools for tracking costs and performance during execution, often resulting in cost overruns that are undesirable for the client. To resolve this, Artek has developed a comprehensive project management tool. This tool enables real-time tracking of well costs, comparisons with the well AFE, NPT tracking, and contract management—from call-outs to invoicing and payments. All of these aspects are continuously monitored throughout the project. Additionally, the tool includes a performance module that displays a real-time time-depth curve during project execution. The implementation of this tool has allowed us to efficiently manage projects, delivering low costs and high performance, which distinguishes us from our competitors.
At Artek, we believe the oil and gas industry needs robust IT solutions to streamline routine tasks in the workplace. One such task is well cost estimation, which is essential for determining the AFE for every project. However, many organizations lack an effective tool for this, making accurate project costing difficult. We are in the final stages of launching a user-friendly, interactive Well Cost Estimation tool that will transform the way well costing is handled in the industry. In addition to this, we will soon roll out other tools, such as the inventory management system and Well Integrity Management Tool, to further enhance operational efficiency.
